BASKET PROGRAMME

(BLACK ARCHITECTURAL SKILLS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION AND TRAINING)

The SAIAT is initiating a re-training and mentorship programme for BBBEE (Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment) qualifying professionals, who, due to economical and other reasons were forced to leave the industry.

The training and mentorship of these professionals will be done primarily by BBBEE colleagues under the guidance of SAIAT.

If you satisfy the requirements of BBBEE and are willing to be part of this programme or want to get involved in this programme, kindly complete the form below. Your details will then be added to the database and you will receive notifications via e-mail of upcoming meetings in your area where

 this programme will be discussed.

It is important to note that this is not a quick fix/quick money making programme - it will require dedication from all the participants and will show results only after a period of at least two years.

RISK ASSESSMENT  TOOL

DOWNLOAD TOOL HERE

SACAP withdrew the IDOW in November 2015 due to the fact that the Competitions Commissioner for various reasons has declined to accept the IDOW exemption application as made by the CBE on behalf of SACAP. (Download Board Notices here .)

In January 2016 SACAP published a Board Notice notifying professionals that in taking on work, professionals must ensure that they comply with Rule 2 of the SACAP Professional Code of Conduct. (Download Board Notice here.)

To assist our members SAIAT has created a “Risk Assesment Tool” (originally done in 2007 as an alternative suggestion to the IDOW).

The use of the “Tool” is voluntary and still in a draft format - therefore SAIAT would like to receive your feedback and suggestions on it.
